Article Retraction and Correction Policy

"Frontiers on Healthcare Research" is committed to maintaining the integrity of the published record, adhering to the standards of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our policy governs post-publication discussions and the management of corrections as follows:

  1. Criteria for Retraction: Articles found to have significant errors or ethical concerns are subject to retraction following a thorough review, with a transparent notice provided.
  2. Correction Procedures: For author errors, an erratum is published; for publisher errors, a corrigendum is issued. Both are clearly linked to the original article, detailing the changes made.
  3. Amendments: Substantial post-publication corrections are addressed through amendments, which are duly marked and explained.
  4. Public Notification: Retractions, corrections, and amendments are publicly disclosed, ensuring transparency in the correction process.
  5. Preservation of the Record: The original publication is preserved in our archives, marked to indicate any retraction or correction status.

Our approach underscores our dedication to ethical publishing practices and the accuracy of the scholarly record.
