Plagiarism Policy
"Frontiers on Healthcare Research" enforces a strict policy to uphold scientific integrity, aligned with the guidelines of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our policy against plagiarism is as follows:
- Turnitin Similarity Check: We screen all submissions through Turnitin, setting a maximum similarity threshold of 20% to ensure the uniqueness of content.
- Author Correction: Manuscripts that exceed the similarity threshold are returned to authors for necessary revisions to address any content overlap.
- Resubmission Process: Authors may resubmit their manuscripts after corrections have been made, for a subsequent similarity assessment.
- Educational Emphasis: We provide authors with guidance on the importance of originality and the prevention of plagiarism.
This rigorous approach is part of our commitment to promoting original research and maintaining the highest standards of academic honesty.
