Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process Policy
"Frontiers in Healthcare Research" is committed to a robust and transparent double-anonymous peer-review process, in line with best practices from the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):
- Initial Editorial Screening: Each submission is initially screened for fit to the journal's scope and adherence to submission guidelines.
- Double-Anonymous Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts are assigned to at least two expert reviewers, maintaining anonymity on both sides to ensure an unbiased review process.
- Comprehensive Evaluation: Reviewers provide in-depth assessments of the manuscript's scientific rigour and scholarly contribution.
- Iterative Feedback and Revision: Authors receive anonymized feedback to revise their manuscript, ensuring a dialogue that enhances the scholarly value of their work.
- Final Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations and any subsequent revisions, the editorial team makes the final decision on the manuscript's publication.
- Post-Review Transparency and Documentation: Upon publication, the journal provides an account of the review process, upholding transparency while protecting reviewer confidentiality.
This process is integral to the integrity and quality of the scholarship published in our journal.
