Authorship and Contributorship Policy

"Frontiers in Healthcare Research" aligns with the ethical standards of scholarly publishing as set forth by the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our policy ensures the transparent attribution of authorship and contributorship, upholding the integrity of academic work.

  1. Substantial Contributions: Authorship should be accorded to those who have made significant intellectual contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported research. Each author should have a part in drafting or revising the manuscript critically for important intellectual content.
  2. Approval and Accountability: All those listed as authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before publication and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
  3. Financial Support and Disclosure: Authors must clearly disclose the source of funding and the role of the sponsor in the study design, collection, analysis, interpretation of data, writing of the report, and the decision to submit the article for publication. If the supporting source had no such involvement, the authors should declare that the funder had no role in these aspects of the research.
  4. Acknowledgement of Non-Author Contributions: Individuals who have contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an acknowledgments section, with a description of the contribution.
  5. Dispute Resolution: In the event of an authorship dispute before or after publication, the journal follows a prescribed process for resolution, which may involve dialogue with the involved parties and, if unresolved, consultation with relevant institutional bodies. Our process is designed to handle such matters sensitively and fairly.

By establishing clear guidelines and processes for authorship and contributorship, "Frontiers in Healthcare Research" ensures that the contributions of all involved are accurately and fairly represented, fostering trust and transparency in the publication of scientific research.
